All three career starts have come here, including a win over this trip in novice company in middle outing (sent off 28/1). Didn't repeat trick since and opening handicap mark ask a question.
Steady progress in three qualifying runs ahead of this handicap debut, culminating in neck second in a low-grade C&D novice contest last time. Could improve again, needs to.

CORTON LAD has shown improved signs in two recent runs and is on a more than workable handicap mark as he bids to win this race for the second time in four years, his experience may prove a big asset now. Handicaps debutants Home Before Dusk and Glasses Up are respected as is Testa Rossa, who drops in class and has been cut some slack by the handicapper.
