Failed to make the track for Hamdan Al-Maktoum and Roger Varian and bought for a mere £5,000 in November. Caught the eye on debut before clearly justifying favouritism on his second start at Beverley. Big player once more under a penalty.
Glimmers of ability on his two starts to date but ultimately beaten a similar distance on both occasions. Needs to improve on that to be involved but may well do so at some stage.
Showed major improvement on first run to win going away here over 7f two weeks ago. Shaped there like this extra furlong will suit and will be a leading contender once again with further progress.
New Approach colt, made easy work of his debut at Ayr in July last year. Struggled in the Fielden (Listed) on return at Newmarket but should be much more at home in these quieter waters.
Sets a fair standard having been awarded a mark of 85 after finishing second last time to a promising sort. A similar effort should see him bang in the mix once more with improvement to come.
Kitten's Joy filly cost $45,000 as a foal, then changed hands for 20,000 gns as a yearling. 66/1 and beaten a long way on debut at Doncaster. Major improvement needed to be in involved here.

History Writer (5/4), Elerfaan (3/1), New Show (7/2), Borodin (11/2), Play Mate (16/1), Mutawaary (40/1), Pam's Angel (66/1), Ideal Angel (200/1)
Borodin is certainly of interest once again here with the extra furlong looking sure to suit. History Writer has a mark of 85 so if he runs to anywhere near that he will be right in the mix again. Preference though is for ELERFAAN who took some time to get to the track, but he has a wonderful pedigree and things seemed to click at Beverley last time so he can win again.
