Outclassed in the Racing Post Trophy at the end of last season, but dead-heated on debut before that and this longer trip should suit; one for the shortlist.
Impressive winner on debut at Newbury last time out. Up in trip and carries penalty, but so do most of these, and he could easily go 2-2 here on what should be slightly quicker ground.
No match for a clear winner on his second start at Lingfield last time out but won the Wood Ditton on the Rowley Mile prior to that, and has a chance based on that form.
Debut winner at Kempton but failed to land a blow on second start at Ripon last month. Slightly down in trip but unlikely to trouble the leading contenders here with the penalty.
Ran okay on debut at Sandown earlier in the month when not really considered in the betting. Improvement a strong possibility for his top trainer.
Forecasts
Loxley (2/1), Raymond Tusk (2/1), Sawwaah (3/1), Star Of Bengal (6/1), Orange Suit (12/1), Jumping Cats (40/1), Tenedos (40/1)
Most of these carry a penalty so it's less of a disadvantage to those who do, and RAYMOND TUSK could defy the extra weight here. An impressive winner on debut at Newbury last time out, there's every chance the penalty won't be enough for him to go 2-2 in his career, with the step up in trip likely to suit. He can get the better of stablemate Orange Suit as well as the class-dropping Loxley.
