Collected a good prize over the Curragh mile last year off 3lb higher. Gets quick ground for the first time this term and although his best has come over shorter, he has shown he stays this far.
Landed four races under both codes in 2017 with the latest at Gowran coming off 5lb higher. That is down to some lacklustre efforts recently and he is best watched until showing more.
Yard an obvious threat to all and this 400,000 gns yearling has to be given respect having narrowly opened his account at Limerick. However, he is reportedly a difficult ride and has more on his plate here.
Dual Dundalk winner over this trip and less effective over 1m4f when last seen. Given a break since and, although proven on turf, this mark seems high enough.
Has been shaping well of late but something to prove off his current mark at this level of competition.
Forecasts
Tony The Gent (9/4), Christopher Robin (10/3), Masucci (4/1), John Honeyman (13/2), Fiesole (9/1), Nimitz (10/1), Hamley (16/1)
The joker in the pack is Christopher Robin who looks far from straightforward and Ger Lyons probably holds the aces with Masucci and TONY THE GENT. The selection returns to this trip and will have good ground for the first time since scoring at the Curragh off a higher mark a year ago. His stable companion is untested over this far but is unexposed and looks a danger if he stays.
