Good winner on debut, justifying favouritism when a comfortable 2l victor at Windsor. Struggled to back that up here over C&D last time and maybe vulnerable under the penalty once more.
Cheap purchase at just €3,000 as a yearling but that rose to £10,000 as a two-year-old. Half-brother to several winners including the useful Mariachi Man. Yard don't have many winners as newcomers.
Firebreak colt that cost £9,000 as a yearling. Dam was Group-placed over 5f & 6f. Plenty to like on paper but yards runners tend to need their first run so market will be a good guide.
Anodin colt that cost €18,000 as a yearling. Related to several winners and yards runners have really struck form over the last few weeks. Interesting newcomer for yard that has a decent strike rate at this track. one to note.
First foal out of dam who was a 7f AW winner as a juvenile and is a half-sister to other winners. 25/1 and well beaten on debut and needs to do much more here to be involved.
21,000gns yearling, Thirteenth foal. Half-brother to four winners, including two as juveniles over 7f-1m. Ran green on debut at Newmarket in a race that has worked out pretty well. Should be plenty of improvement to come.
Eighth foal by War Command out of a 1m2f-1m5f winning dam (Final Opinion). Cost €14,000 as a yearling and showed lots of promise after missing the break on debut and running green. Should come on a bundle for that and is a player.
£35,000 yearling. £16,000 at two. Fifth foal, half-brother to three winners, two of them at two over sprint trips in France. 16/1 and well beaten on debut, should improve for the experience but needs too.
Relatively cheap purchase from Tatts Ireland last September, half brother to the useful Azagal. Ran well over C&D on debut and was a tad unlucky not to go close. Should come on for that and not discounted.

Simon's Smile (9/4), Theatre Of War (3/1), Swiss Peak (3/1), Seductive Moment (5/1), Xtara (7/1), Sirius Slew (33/1), Mac Ailey (33/1), Champagne On Rocks (33/1), Uncle Norman (66/1), Geyser (125/1)
Of the newcomers Simon's Smile looks the part on paper and comes from a yard going great guns at the moment. SWISS PEAK and Theatre Of War both shaped with real promise on debut though and preference is former. He ran green on debut in a race that has worked out pretty well and with the expected improvement he should go pretty close here.
