Martaline gelding that is a half-brother to top class hurdler/chaser Dynaste and chase winner Dauphine Eirene. Dam was placed over fences. Likely type on paper although may need a little further in time.
Great Palm gelding picked up as a four-year-old for small money. Beaten a long way on debut at Warwick (2m, good). Cheekpieces added but much more needed to be involved.
Passing Glance gelding cost £15,000 as a three-year-old and some promise on pedigree. Shaped well on debut at Ffos Las when fourth of 11. Type to progress and respected with rider claiming a handy 5lbs.
Flemensfirth gedling that cost €75,000 as a three-year-old. Dam was tailed off in a bumper but is a sister to Champion Hurdle winner Rock On Ruby. Tongue-tie goes on for debut and yard do well in this sphere. Respected.
Well beaten/failed to finish in all three of her runs in point-to-points. Likely to need further than this (dam stayed 3m) and likely best watched on debut.
New Approach filly. Dam 7f winner including a Group 3 and was rated 110. Well backed ahead of her debut at Wincanton and ran well to be fourth. Sets the standard but vulnerable to anything with talent
Forecasts
Rose Crown (11/10), Druide Premier (7/2), Boomarang (4/1), Eleanorofaquitaine (4/1), Overshot (33/1), Storm Fire (50/1), Simon The Great (100/1)
Rose Crown was well backed ahead of her debut and sets the standard. Boomerang is entitled to come on a bit for his debut and is very much respected. Preference though goes to the newcomer ELEANOROFAQUITAINE who has a nice pedigree with her dam a sister to Champion Hurdler Rock On Ruby. She can make a winning debut for a yard that do well in these events.
