Some encouragement to be taken from the pedigree that he can make up into a useful sort over middle distances but looks one more for handicaps after today, as he's looked short of speed in two starts to date.
€38,000 purchase at Arqana Deauville as a yearling, showed plenty of promise (at a big price) at Newbury on debut and improved on that when fourth at Chepstow last time, hanging a little under pressure. May need more again here.
Looked backward in two starts last year and now tried in cheekpieces for seasonal debut. Needs this for a handicap mark and can only be watched at present.
First foal, dam a sister to the very useful hurdler High Bridge and this one sets the standard on his neck second on debut at Doncaster. This track will suit and just a repeat of that debut may be enough. Good chance of getting off the mark.
No great stars in the family but half-sister Absolutely Right did win an all weather maiden. Yard just 1-24 with their 3yos here and on that, not hard to think she'll need the experience today.
Not a lot to be taken from her pedigree but despite only beating one home on her Kempton debut last October she did show a modicum of ability, and may do better this year. Best watched today, but one to keep an eye on.

Sharamm (1/5), Diocles Of Rome (5/1), Rock Boy Grey (6/1), Fanan (10/1), Autumn War (10/1), Kismat (33/1), Advanced Virgo (33/1), Gilted Princess (40/1), Holte End (150/1)
SHARAMM looks the one to beat after a most encouraging debut at Doncaster and can go one better here before going on to greater things. Rock Boy Grey and Diocles Of Rome both look possible improvers and can give the selection the most to think about. It might not be today for Kismat but she's worth keeping an eye on with a view to the future.
