Glimmers of ability have been firmly extinguished in two desperate maiden hurdle starts at Wexford in October and last month. Looks opposable.

7/2
Well backed and running best race so far at Killarney when running out through the rail just over three furlongs out last month. Ability is there and could play a part.

Desolate form in a number of maiden hurdle starts in 2017 and last month in a Limerick contest well beaten 20L behind Jetez but expected to improve on that start.

Well beaten in two maiden hurdle starts before pulling up in a Wexford contest when tailed off following a host of mistakes in October 2017. Looks up against it here.

Sent off not unbacked on maiden hurdle debut at Killarney in May 2016 but well beaten when unfancied in a couple of maidens on return to the track following a break. Market possibly the best guide here in what appears to be a weak event.

Pulled up on return to the track when not unbacked but never looked like making any impression in the Ballinrobe contest. Possible claims to hit the frame here.

Doesn't look to be completely in love with the game virtually refusing before being pulled up in a Clonmel handicap hurdle in February before much of the same at Cork last month. Plenty to prove.

Poor bumper form will have disappointed connections and market likely to be the best guide to his chances on hurdling debut.

Has produced a number of laboured performances in three hurdle starts between September and November last year. Hard to see him making any significant impact here in first time hood.

Poor form in a series of three maiden hurdle spins including a 17L defeat in a Down Royal contest last month on stable debut. Place claims at best.

Achieved little of note in three Flat maidens and was beaten over 37L in each of three maiden hurdle starts to date. Plenty to prove in this contest looking at exposed form.

Forecasts

Rio Lobo (15/8), Churchtown Glen (7/2), Shakeytry (5/1), Miss Echrad (6/1), Cloudybackwest (8/1), Petite Gina (10/1), Chin'up (12/1), Dan Gun (18/1), Realta Dawn (20/1), Aldawayfornothing (33/1), Mary Fields (33/1), Love The Well (50/1), Artic Quest (66/1)

18:50 Tramore - 2 June 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

MISS ECHRAD can build on a couple of promising runs in handicap hurdles to date and can put his experience to good use here. Cloudybackwest's run at Limerick last month is better than it looks and can hit the frame along with game and tricky sort Churchtown Glen improving towards the business end of the race. Any money for Rio Lobo should be noted while the form has been generally disappointing and is obviously a tricky character.
  1. Miss Echrad
  2. Cloudybackwest
  3. Rio Lobo
