Improved on final start of last year when a winner at Wolverhampton, form that has been well advertised by the second since then. Absence to overcome but a big surprise if that's as good as he is, and chances of defying the penalty here.
Has shown ability on both starts, but signs of greenness as well. Getting the hang of things if latest fourth at Chelmsford is anything toi go by, will qualify for handicaps after today but may be able to improve and finish in the places anyway.
Seems to have found his level already, went close at Bath two starts ago and then far from disgraced in better company at York last time (after being hampered early on). No reason for him not to run his race under conditions that suit.
Bred for speed and showed plenty of it on only start of last season when fourth in a minor event at Lingfield, weakening late. Should do better and gets plenty of weight here, but needs to improve if she's to hold best chance today.
Nice enough pedigree, especially on the dam's side (was a half-sister to Group 1 winner Court Masterpiece) but this trip looks very much on the short side for her debut today. Likely to need the experience and others preferred.
Bred for a bit pf speed but last on debut at Lingfield in February and not seen since. Plenty to find on that, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Forecasts
Kimifive (11/8), Al Asef (9/4), How Far (3/1), Dubai Silk (8/1), Eternal Destiny (20/1), Skip To My Lou (50/1), Wedgewood Wonder (100/1)
AL ASEF has the form in the bank and won't mind a bit of rain either, so would appear to have plenty going for him in his quest for a second victory. Kimifive might not want much more rain but looks a clear second best. How Far may be best of the rest.
