Price increased markedly from foal to yearling and this Dream Ahead colt is out of a 7f winner who is a sister to a Group 1 winner (Move In Time). Yard have done well with their juveniles here last year; market check advised.

Half-brother to two other winners for the yard who both won as juveniles out of smart dam (Ceiling Kitty) who won the Queen Mary. The pedigree makes him of interest alone as does the trainer's record here.

Showed far more on his second run at Newmarket keeping on well to run a close second to the favourite having been well backed. That form sets a decent standard and he could well put his experience to good use.

This looks to be a tough debut for a yard that are not known for their debut two-year-old winners. Cost just 4,500 guineas and whilst he has winning relations he may need time and an easier task.

Didn't really show much if any progress from his debut to his second run but he's now tried over 6f for the first time. His stable also run what looks to be a smart newcomer and the betting will tell the tale between the two.

From a yard that have had a blistering start to the campaign but mainly with their older horses although they are 2/9 with two-year-olds. There is a fair bit of stamina in the pedigree though and there might be one or two sharper here.

Much better on his second run than on his debut and this yard are having a good season with their juveniles (4/22). May well need to make some more progress to take a hand here though with some good newcomers on show.

Moor Top

Quite an expensive purchase for this yard (£48,000) and his pedigree holds some appeal. Despite that fact this looks a tough starting point and the yard are hardly known for their winning newcomers.

Yard's juveniles usually need a run and this one may prove no exception. Already gelded for his debut he's best watched unless the market tells you otherwise.

Forecasts

Axel Jacklin (9/4), Arthur Kitt (3/1), Good Fortune (7/2), Five Amarones (13/2), Absolute Dream (11/1), Minas Gerais (16/1), Napanook (18/1), Moor Top (50/1), Bob The Bruce (66/1)

Several interesting newcomers here and it won’t be a surprise if one of that group take this. Good Fortune should be one of the more likely types although he does have plenty of stamina in his pedigree and this trip looks sharp enough. Absolute Dream is another newcomer from a yard that are always respected in this sphere but it’s another first-timer from the Dascombe yard that makes most appeal in ARTHUR KITT. Axel Jacklin is one of only three that have already run here but he showed plenty last time out and on his third run his experience could come in handy here.
  1. Arthur Kitt
  2. Axel Jacklin
  3. Good Fortune
