Off the mark at the third attempt at Wolverhampton (1m, AW) when the cheekpieces were on for the first time. Interesting that they are left off here and returns from a four month break. Likely there is plenty more to come on first turf start.

Medicean colt that went through two separate sales unsold in the autumn. Half-Brother to a trio of winners and market maybe the best guide on racecourse debut.

Canford Cliffs colt that made a promising start at Sandown in a race that is working out. Disappointing when a beaten favourite at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) last time. Needs to bounce back from that but dangerous if doing so.

Farhh colt, cost 100,000 gns as a yearling. Improved effort on reappearance at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) when getting no run against the rail at a crucial stage. Every chance of further improvement and getting some compensation today.

Improved effort on second start at Chester (1m2½f, good) when seeing out the trip well. Questions to answer dropped back in trip here but likely there is more to come.

Champs Elysees gelding. Yard have a strong hand with Ibraz so unless the market speaks hugely in his favour he is probably best watched on racecourse debut.

Champs Elysees gelding that cost 16,000 gns as a yearling. Yards runners tend to come on for the experience and best watched for future reference.

Big prices and well beaten on two starts on the AW so far. Likely to be more suitable for handicaps on the back of this third run but market check needed all the same.

Medicean filly that has a middle distance pedigree. Sent off at 40/1 for debut at Wolverhampton (7f, AW) and was well beaten. Best watched for now.

Big prices and held in two starts so far. Plugged on a Goodwood (7f, good to soft) latest and this step up in trip looks a good move on that evidence but more is needed here.

Only fifth on debut at Lingfield (1m, AW) but came out of that race with credit having been drawn wide and not getting the best of runs through. Should come on for that and likely to do better.

Perfect Refuge ran better than her finishing position suggests on debut and is likely to do better. History Writer is better than he showed at Newmarket last time and will attempt to bounce back. This could be between Hasanoanda and IBRAZ to fight out the finish. The former makes a switch to turf having won his final start last year cosily but the last named was hampered at a crucial stage at Newmarket last time and is taken to notch his first win.

  2. Hasanoanda
