Decent 121-rated hurdler who was thought good enough to run in a Grade 2 mares' novice chase at Thurles in January eventually beaten 32L behind Dinaria Des Obeaux. Big player in this class.
Beginners chase winner in January at Naas over 2m slightly lost here way in the last month in three quick appearances including beaten favourite last time out. Market likely to be the best guide here.
Not the most prolific in terms of finishing off her races lately, but would've been placed at Thurles in January but for departing late in the race. Hard to place too much faith in here.
Useful on the Flat and has run well against the likes of classy Coquin Mans and Max Dynamite. Second of 12 in a gallant comeback run earlier this month before disappointing when losing a shoe in a Killarney handicap hurdle on Monday.
Winner over C&D in a mares handicap chase in April 2017. Pulled up on return to the track following a six month break here last month. Back on a winning mark and worth a market check.
Course winner who has also won over this trip but has been badly out of form in two chase starts within the last month. Regressing of late and plenty more needed here.
Won a beginners chase here in July 2016 over 3m3½f off a mark of 114 and looks to have being paying for it ever since without winning but still racing 16lb higher than that win. Liable to find a couple quicker.
Has been with current yard for three years and followed up a win at Wexford last April by finishing third of seven in this contest last year. Interesting contender coming back over the larger obstacles.
Forecasts
Asthuria (9/4), Thanks For Tea (10/3), Ask Susan (5/1), Miss Eyecatcher (11/2), Teacher's Pet (8/1), Water Sprite (10/1), Presenting Mahler (20/1), Carole Rose (33/1)
Four quick appearances is a worry for Asthuria which can be taken advantage of by the Gordon Elliott-trained WATER SPRITE who will be getting weight from the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old. Thanks For Tea and Miss Eyecatcher can battle for the minor honours.
