2/5
In tremendous form, came right away for easy success at Cheltenham on latest start and this longer trip is no bother at all. Acts on the ground, has the class and looks the one to beat again.

Deadly Moveh,t53
Age: 9|  Weight: 12-4| J: Mr Peter Bryan(5)| T: M Bowen| OR:  110
8/1
Had ability at a low-level under Rules but hard to win with, and will need plenty of improvement on latest effort at Ston Easton. Others hold stronger claims.
3
Horse silk
33/1
Did win a maiden hurdle (at Wexford) under Rules but shown little for some time and hasn't been sighted on his last two starts. Easy enough to look elsewhere for the winner,

Age: 11|  Weight: 12-0| J: Ben Jones(7)| T: Mrs K Hobbs| OR:  120| C
7/1
Won a bumper here way back in 2012, had ability over fences for Philip Hobbs and a couple of recent efforts, including a win at Penshurst last time, suggest he's finding a bit of form. Could be among the places.

Dont Do Mondays11
Age: 11|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr Oswald Wedmore(7)| T: Mrs L Lawson| OR:  100| CD
5/1
Disappointing on soft ground in this last year but has form at the track and tonight's better ground will suit. Has rattled off a hat-trick of point-to-point wins lately and could challenge for minor honours.

Dream Chope12

Second in a Members point-to-point at Flete Park latest but that was his first completion in five starts and he achieved little in the process. Others readily preferred.

Dystonia's Revengep11
Age: 13|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr P York| T: Mrs L Lawson| OR:  82| D
66/1
Stayed well under Rules and was three times a winner over fences, all at a fairly low level, will enjoy the likely quick ground but in no great form at present (although not disgraced latest) and makes only minimal appeal.

Railway Stormp10
Age: 13|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr R Withey(7)| T: C White| OR:  89

Nothing special under Rules, winning just one of his 30-odd starts and although he did take a Conditions race at Larkhall in March (favourites unseated/ran below form) he will find this a lot harder.
9

Smadyniumb,t11
Age: 10|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr Daniel Cherriman(7)| T: A Hill| OR:  118
10/1
Twice a chase winner under Rules and isn't without ability, not beaten far by useful pointer Generous Ransom in an Aldington Open latest (Dystonia's Revenge in fourth) and although ground likely to be lively enough for him, could go well.

Swallowshide13
Age: 9|  Weight: 12-0| J: Mr G Treacy(7)| T: J H Young| OR:  94| D
50/1
Not doing anything quickly at present and well behind Monsieur Gibraltar at Cheltenham on latest start. Has a mountain to climb to get close to the main players here.

Forecasts

Monsieur Gibraltar (2/5), Dont Do Mondays (5/1), Danandy (7/1), Deadly Move (8/1), Smadynium (10/1), Dream Chope (33/1), Cairde Aris (33/1), Railway Storm (50/1), Swallowshide (50/1), Dystonia's Revenge (66/1)

18:40 Fontwell - 17 May 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Not many to concentrate on here, with plenty looking outclassed. MONSIEUR GIBRALTAR looks the automatic choice after a bloodless win at Cheltenham and looks head and shoulders above these. Don't Do Mondays has been in grand form and looks second best, with Smadynium holding chances of the places if on a going day.
  1. Monsieur Gibraltar
  2. Dont Do Mondays
  3. Smadynium
