Horse silk
All Hands On Deckh20
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: N P Madden| T: H Fry
9/1
Too keen on debut at Warwick in February and whilst she settled better in the hood at Taunton (2m½f, good) last time she was still well beaten. More is needed today and hood retained.
2
Horse silk
6/1
Cost just £8,000 as a four-year-old. Moved to Paul Nicholls after finishing second in a point-to-point last month. Dam unraced half-sister to useful bumper and hurdle winner Melody Maid. Market guide for debut will be useful.
3
Horse silk
50/1
Beaten a very long way in two bumper starts today and it is very hard to see her troubling the best of these. Likely winner almost certain to come from elsewhere.
Indian Haven mare who has much more of a flat pedigree than national hunt. Track and ground should suit in that respect and any market move would make her of interest.

Horse silk
Hot Smoked20
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Daniel Sansom(5)| T: R Walford
50/1
Yard have not had a bumper winner in the last five years and she was beaten 33L on recent debut at Taunton (2m½f, good). Needs to do much better but should come on for the experience.
6
Horse silk
7/1
Outclassed last time in listed bumper but had previously shaped with promise in two outings and is not without hope. May again find at least one or two too good though.
7
Horse silk
20/1
Cost just £2,000 and dam was tailed off in bumpers. Hard to make as solid case for her on paper and probably best watched unless the market speaks massively in her favour.
8
Horse silk
14/1
Beaten a long way on debut at Aintree but has showed more in two similar efforts in AW bumpers at Lingfield. A similar effort today would put her in with a shout.
9
Horse silk
25/1
Dam was a 2m1f-3m chase winner, half-sister to Grand National second Encore Un Peu. Likley to need further than this in time. Top rider booked so market check needed.
10
Horse silk
Pardon Me225
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: J McGrath| T: J W Mullins
14/1
Shaped on both her bumper efforts to date that she will need a bit further than this trip to be at her best. Awkward at times at Stratford on her latest run and needs to do more.
11
Horse silk
Port Royale78
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: R Johnson| T: A J Honeyball
14/1
King's Theatre mare from a fair jumping family. Only 11/2 for her debut at Plumpton (2m1½f, good) when weakening late on to be well beaten. Clearly capable of better and champion jockey booked.
12
Horse silk
Skin Deep
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: A King
9/2
Presenting mare that cost £56,000 as a three-year-old and is a really interesting recuit to this sphere. She's a half sister to high class hurdler/chaser Yanworth and makes plenty of appeal on paper ahead of her racecourse debut.
13
Horse silk
66/1
Sulamani mare who is a half sister to several winners. Sent off 50/1 on debut and got messed about at the start before unseating her rider after 100 yards. Market best guide once again.
14
Horse silk
80/1
Midnight Legend filly out of a dam who was an AW winner over 1m4f. Pulled up on debut at Taunton (2m½f, heavy) last month. Better ground should suit but more more needed.
15
Horse silk
4/1
New Approach filly. Dam 7f winner including a Group 3 and was rated 110. Bred for a mix of speed and stamina so makes plenty of appeal for her racecourse debut. Market will be a good guide to expectations.
16
Horse silk
Shell Crystalt203
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-8| J: T Scudamore| T: D PipeWS
50/1
Sent off third favourite for her debut back in October but weakened tamely to be beaten 87L. Has had wind surgery on the back of that and given a six month break but would need to show much more.
17
Horse silk
9/1
Sent off favourite for her debut at Taunton (2m½f, heavy) last month but could only manage third beaten 20L. Every chance a switch to this better surface will see an improved showing and no surprise should the money come for her once more.

16:50 Wincanton - 15 May 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

As always in these contest the market should give us the best guide in terms of expectiations for the newcomers. Rose Crown is interesting on paper and a market move should be noted. Better can be expected from Port Royale and she is a player with Richard Johnson booked. Willow May was well backed on debut and should be more at home on this better ground. The shortlist is headed by SKIN DEEP who has a lovely pedigree and is a half sister to the high class Yanworth. She can make a winning debut for powerful connections.
  1. Skin Deep
  2. Willow May
  3. Rose Crown
