Hasn't tasted success since July 2016 (for Dan Skelton) despite numerous attempts and might well need this race, being his first start since October 2017. However, he should handle the fast ground and also appreciate the drop in grade.

Made all to beat the quirky Yourholidayisover when scoring by 3L at Southwell in June 2017 (2m good). Races from a 3lb lower mark here, having left the care of Patrick Holmes since his last start at Catterick in November.

Tapeta, Fibresand, hurdles or fences, he's pretty much won on or over everything since joining this trainer. 9lb higher than when making all to score by 1L from Black Kettle over C&D in September (good). Had recent wind surgery.

All of his best form over fences has come on quick ground, so the forecast conditions will be firmly in his favour. Beaten 6L by Rhythm of Sound (2m good to firm) at Leicester in November, and holds every chance based on that effort.

In the process of running a solid race on just his second start over fences last month (C&D heavy), when falling at the last (usual two out) in a race won by Frankie Ballou. Respected off the same mark today.

Pulled up on his latest start in February (2m3f+), and is now win-less in 27 attempts under rules. Handles good ground, but couldn't be considered on these unfavourable terms.

Increasingly poor for previous trainer Diana Grissell, but well backed for his stable debut for his current trainer at Fontwell in March (fell). Still waiting to see if wind surgery has had any positive impact (£2,000 buy in August 2017).

Duhallowcountryb22

Veteran who tends to force the pace and is a dual C&D winner (soft). Below his best for some considerable time now and will almost certainly face a fierce battle for the lead today.

Forecasts

Citadel (1/1), My Renaissance (9/2), Stormbay Bomber (7/1), Boss Des Mottes (15/2), No No Cardinal (8/1), Monbeg Cave (16/1), Reverse The Charge (25/1), Duhallowcountry (50/1)

14:30 Sedgefield - 15 May 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race which promises to be run at a truly frenetic pace with My Renaissance, Stormbay Bomber, Monbeg Cave, Citadel and Duhallowcountry all known for their appreciation of racing towards the fore. Conditions will most likely be riding very quick with a dry, warm settled spell of weather forecast, and that can play into the hands of the Mark Gillard trained NO NO CARDINAL. Harry Stock can potentially tuck in nicely behind the early pace, produce his mount late in the race and provide the Dorset based handler with a winner with just his second ever runner at Sedgefield.
  1. No No Cardinal
