Horse silk
14/1
7th foal, half-sister to three French winners inc Catch One and Zanzi Catch. Dam was a winner over hurdles. Wears tongue tie for racecourse debut.
2
Horse silk
4/1
Best effort so far when returning from a break last time at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) when finishing a close second despite hanging left up the run-in. Likely to go well again.
Third foal, dam was placed bumpers. Half-sister to hurdle/chase winner Pequenita. Likely to come on for the experience and is best watched on debut.
Bought by connections for £20,000 in March after winning an Irish point. Yard do well in this sphere and an interesting runner on rules debut. Market support significant.

10/1
Had some jumping problems in her point-to-points but purchased for £10,000 after finishing second on final start on that sphere almost a year ago. Market clues important on rules debut.
6
Horse silk
25/1
Out of an unraced mare and was weak in the betting for racecourse debut last June when well beaten. Much more needed here to be involved on first start for new yard.
Beaten a long way on two run to date and will need to take a huge step forward on that to play a role in the finish today.

Horse silk
Cleofe
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-10| J: C O'Farrell| T: R Menzies
16/1
Half-sister to quirky bumper/2m-3m high-class hurdle/chase winner Lieutenant Colonel. Dam was a bumper winner. Every chance she will need a bit further than this in time.
9
Horse silk
7/1
Likely type on paper and half-sister to bumper winner Tom Lamb. Market check is advised on racecourse debut as any money for her would be interesting.
Cost €11,000 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to winners Owen Na View and Gowithdflow. Dam was a multiple bumper winner and is likely to know her job for a yard that do well in these races.
11
Horse silk
Lady Babs
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-10| J: Ross Chapman(3)| T: A Crook
66/1
Half-sister to bumper & 2m4f hurdle winner Ryedale Racer. Dam won a bumper and over hurdles. Likely to need this experience on racecourse debut.
Malinas filly who's dam was placed in bumpers. Doesn't appeal a great deal on paper but market check advised as yard can ready one in this sphere.

Forecasts

Influential Lady (5/4), Dollys Destination (4/1), Emma Lamb (7/1), Goffsbridge Girl (8/1), Gonn Away (10/1), Cardigan Bay (14/1), Cleofe (16/1), Onelasthand (25/1), Dorothy's Flame (40/1), Unobtainable (50/1), Lady Babs (66/1), Sailing Away (80/1)

17:15 Hexham - 12 May 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Goffsbridge Girl cost connections £20,000 after winning an Irish point earlier in the year and is an interesting newcomer. Dolly’s Destination is likely to be popular once more after running so well last time although she will need to sort out her chinks. The interesting one though is INFLUENTIAL LADY. She only cost €11,000 but she’s bred for this game and her yard do particularly well in this sphere.
  1. Influential Lady
  2. Goffsbridge Girl
  3. Dollys Destination
