Unraced ninth foal by Kodiac out of the 5½f winner Payphone. Cost €105,000 as a foal (67,000 gns yearling), and is a half-sister to four winners including Newsletter (5f-6f) and Touch Tone (7f).

5/2
Unraced first foal by Kodiac out of the Listed placed 5f juvenile winner Graphic Quest. Cost €80,000 as a yearling, but acquired on behalf of Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha for 360,000 gns earlier this year.

Delegator filly with plenty of speed on the dam's side. Blew her chance on the home bend (hung) at Kempton on debut, so unsurprisingly is now switched to a straight 5f.

Horse silk
25/1
Unraced fifth foal by Kodiac out of the Listed placed 1m2f-1m4f winner Funday. Cost 50,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to the 1m4f AW winner Miss Giler, so might just be vulnerable over this sprint trip.

Unraced seventh foal by Dandy Man out of an unraced half-sister to winners Enrol (6f-7f) and Enact (6f). Half-sister to five winners herself including Personal Touch (6f-7f).

9/2
Unraced first foal by Kodiac out of an unraced dam (Enjoyable). Cost 105,000 gns as a foal, and whilst her trainer has kicked off the season well with his juveniles, this filly could well do better over further with time.

Showu
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: M Harley| T: R Eddery
18/1
Unraced second foal by Showcasing out of the 7f-1m1f+ winner Travelling. Stable not really known for their juvenile winners (7 from 90; 8% over the past five years), so others rate as more likely winners.

Horse silk
20/1
Unraced second foal by Oasis Dream out of the Listed winner Boastful (5f-1m). Cost €160,000 as a foal, and is closely related to the 6f juvenile winner Moseeb.

18:00 Ascot - 11 May 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A race which could throw up some Royal Ascot clues; and was taken by the very speedy Mrs Gallagher in 2017. Queen Of Bermuda (William Haggas), Satisfying (Richard Hughes) and Come On Leicester (Richard Hannon) obviously caught the eye in recent breeze-ups, costing new owners 230,000gns, 68,000gns and 360,000 gns respectively. The market will no doubt provide plenty of pointers as to what is expected of that trio, but in the absence of that information at present, we'll opt for STAGE PLAY. This Oasis Dream filly rates as appealing herself on pedigree (out of the Listed winner Boastful), and her trainer Michael Bell is 2 from 4 (50%) with his juveniles in 2018.
