Kodiac gelding, cost 21, 000 gns as a Breeze-up purchase having cost more as a yearling and a foal. Showed very little on debut at Newmarket last month.
Pastorius gelding, cost €20,000 as a yearling. Dam a winner and half-sister to a Listed winner. Ran well on debut at Chester and stepped up on that when fourth of 16 at York when last seen. Interesting runner down in class here.
Lord Shanakill gelding, cost €1,600 as a foal and €10,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to a sprint winner and dam a juvenile winner over this trip. Well beaten 100/1 last on debut at Yarmouth last month.
Casamento gelding, cost €5,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to a Group 3 winner over this trip. Hinted at some ability on debut at Thirsk and may do better here.
Has been running well at Newcastle in four career starts and finished third of 10 there on handicap debut last time. Should be thereabouts again and may come on for that most recent effort.
Well beaten and tailed off on both starts to date, having gone off at 150/1 and 200/1 on those starts. Hard to fancy.
Forecasts
Zatorius (11/10), Broken Wings (7/4), May Symphonic (7/1), Symposing (12/1), Busby (14/1), Lord Guest (20/1), Austellus (40/1), Harbour Sunrise (100/1)
This looks like it's between Zatorius and BROKEN WINGS with slight preference for the latter given that she may come on for her latest run. Symposing showed a bit more last time out and may prove best of the rest if building on that.
