80/1
Cost just 800gns as a yearling and showed obvious signs of greeness on debut at Newcastle in November 2017 (6f). Needs to better that effort, but should appreciate the step up in trip (half-brother to a 1m+ AW winner).

Full-brother to winners Cohesion (1m2f-1m4f) and Marmot (7f-1m2f). Beaten over 8L on debut over C&D in November (soft) when finishing fourth of eight to Up Sticks And Go.

Has plenty of experience, and lines up seeking to shed the maiden tag at the sixth attempt. Beaten a neck by Cristal Pallas Cat on the AW at Kempton (7f) on his penultimate start.

Started at a big price on debut at Doncaster in March (7f soft), but was beaten just 3L by the now 100-rated First Contact. Proved that was no fluke with another good run on Town Moor on Saturday, so holds every chance.

Didn't really build upon a promising Kempton debut (October 2017) when racing over enthusiastically on the Tapeta at Newcastle (7f) the following month. Hood applied in order to curb that trait on turf debut.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: Rob Hornby| T: A M Balding

Sixties Icon filly who has faced difficult enough tasks in each of her first two starts (shown little). Back from a winter break at a more realistic level, this half-sister to various winners could well do better, but without troubling the judge.

Orsay
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: Nathan Evans| T: C J Teague
200/1
Unraced eighth living foal by Champs Elysees out of the 1m placed dam Umililo. Half-sister to 1m-1m1f winner Fantastic Pick. Cost 5,000 gns as a yearling, but looks the type to improve for the experience.

Forecasts

Robsdelight (5/4), Diplomacy (10/3), Ekanse (9/2), Mr Gent (13/2), Destinata (12/1), Maggie Jonks (28/1), The Mekon (66/1), Alabanza (80/1), Wicklow Warrior (80/1), Orsay (200/1)

Ekanse cost 170,000 gns as a yearling, so this well-related colt should be competitive in this relatively weak looking contest, with the market likely to provide a massive clue as to his level of ability (very appealing if strongly backed). However, Gay Kelleway seeks to strike while the iron is hot with ROBSDELIGHT, and he looks fully capable of landing such a prize on the strength of a couple of really solid efforts on the Town Moor at Doncaster. Silvestre De Sousa is booked to do the steering today, and he should go close assuming that he handles the predicted faster underfoot conditions.
