Strong in the betting on her first three turf starts it took a switch to the AW and a drop back to 6f to see her score for the first time. Ran with credit when next seen in a novice after six months off; now makes her handicap debut back at 7f.

Showed improved form on her second start (AW debut) to score over 6f justifying confidence in the market. Didn't quite have the run of the race under a penalty when trying to follow-up over 7f and still looks to have progress in her; handicap debut.

An encouraging debut was soon built on when she scored on her next start over 6f with some give in the ground. Not quite in the same form when returned to the scene of her win at Ripon on heavy ground (favourite again); up in trip/handicap debut.

Faced some stiff tasks in the winter when running in Dubai getting back on track at Southwell over 7f on her return. Not disgraced in two efforts since then but is starting to look exposed and faces some likely improvers in this her second handicap.

Having shown some promise for her former yard she stepped up on those runs after an absence on her first start for this stable. Stayed on well and showed a good attitude when winning in a lower grade on handicap debut; more to come off 3lb higher.

Tivoli (11/10), Ortiz (7/2), Elation (4/1), Zahraa (15/2), Line House (14/1), Cirrus Minor (14/1)

15:15 Wolverhampton - 30 April 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Just about the best race on the card despite the fairly small field with four making their handicap debuts. C&D winner Zahraa has to be taken seriously after wining nicely last time but she has to show that she can handle the rise in class Both Elation and Tvoli look the sort to improve as three-year-olds and with a winter behind them as they step into handicap company. It’s Henry Candy’s ORTIZ who looks to have the most to offer though having shaped well against a subsequent next time out winner under a penalty at Kempton when last seen.
  1. Ortiz
  2. Zahraa
  3. Elation
