In good form last year when he won four times. Probably needed his reappearance run at Kempton last month and can do better off 1lb lower.
Well beaten in two outings for current trainer and has dropped 10lb. First-time blinkers need to have a galvanising effect if he is to get involved.
Generally progressive with back-to-back wins at Lingfield and Newcastle before finishing down the field at the latter venue. Needs to bounce back off the same mark.
Seasonal reappearance and first start since being gelded when favourite and leading for a long way when fourth of 11 over 1m6f at this venue a fortnight ago. Should strip fitter and has to go on the short list off the same mark and down in trip.
Pontefract maiden winner in October, 2016, but has not been seen since. Has presumably had a few problems, but will have been well prepared for this first run in handicap company for in-form yard.
Course winner who has been completely out of sorts on latest starts and has dropped down the weights accordingly. Best watched until showing more.

Arab Moon was a real moneyspinner last year and should strip fitter for his reappearance outing at Kempton, while Lexington Law is forgiven a below-par effort last time. Both have claims, along with Hamada, who could be well handicapped, but ready preference is for STAR OF THE EAST, who ran well for a long way over farther last time and should appreciate the drop in trip.
