A half-brother to useful hurdler/smart chaser Runswick Royal, he was picked up for €50,000 by connections. First start here and may want more than bare 2m in time.
Youmzain gelding cost €32,000 as a three-year-old. Yard 0-3 with bumper runners so far in 2018 and doesn't seem an obvious type for a winning start.
Well-related Robin Des Champs gelding, connections parted with €115,000 to pick him up as a three-year-old. One of four for Gordon Elliott and market check needed to sort the pecking order.
Fame And Glory gelding joined Gigginstown for €47,000 and has won his sole outing in the point-to-point sphere. Could be primed for big showing on debut.

Gelding by Mastercraftsman out of Perse who fetched €45,000 as a three-year-old. No threat in bumpers at Fairyhouse and Cork so far, looks set for another tough day at the office.

Fame And Glory gelding is a half-brother to fair hurdler Uimhir A Seacht and joined connections for €80,000 as a three-year-old. Notable newcomer in a race packed with them.

A €100,000 three-year-old Fame And Glory gelding, he'll be sporting a tongue tie on racecourse bow and has the assistance of Derek O'Connor in the plate.

Sans Frontieres gelding is a half-brother to winning pointer Western Honour, makes debut in a tough bumper but does have Cheltenham's Champion Bumper-winning rider for company.

Saint Des Saints gelding cost €78,000 as a three-year-old and is a fourth Gordon Elliott-trained newcomer in this line-up though unlike the others, he isn't owned by Gigginstown. Capable on paper.

Carlotamix gelding represents the axis of Noel Meade and Nina Carberry on debut and sports a hood. Facing a potentially smart line-up but impossible to rule out a decent showing given connections.

Getaway gelding, bred for jumping and likely to be seen to best effect further down the line. Would be a surprise to see a winning start here.

Justified favouritism on debut to score soft-ground win at Huntingdon last month for leading British yard. Interesting that Hobbs brings him here and should improve for the experience of that win.

A half-brother to the mighty Samcro, he was unable to mount a serious challenge on his debut at Towcester in November but shaped well enough. Goes up in distance and has since joined Willie Mullins, ensuring his appearance here catches the eye.
Arcadio gelding picked up for small money and, on pedigree, should struggle on debut in this high-class field.
Kalanisi gelding out of an Alflora mare related to some game sorts, Katchit, Barizan, Barters Hill and Brain Power. Tailed off on debut over hurdles at Cork this month and facing stiff task switched to a bumper as hot as this one.

The only filly in the field, this daughter of Robin Des Champs cost €24,000 as a three-year-old. Wears a good on debut and will have to be well above average to make it a winning one.

Gordon Elliott is mob-handed with four as he bids to supplement his lead in the trainers' race. The market will sort his quartet out but on paper Commander Of Fleet makes plenty appeal. Interestingly, his title rival fires just one dart at this board. The once-raced half-brother to Samcro, Think Positive. He was held in his only British start at Towcester but could have plenty more to say here. The only raider in the party is Huntingdon winner THAT'S A GIVEN and he might just have enough about him to snare this prize for Philip Hobbs with improvement likely on the back of that debut win. Seeyouinvinnys and Kerrkenny Gold are further notables.
