140,000 guineas Dawn Approach colt made winning debut in Ascot novice stakes before running a good fourth to current 2000 Guineas hope Elarqam in the Group 3 Tattersalls Stakes at HQ. Holds 2000 Guineas and Derby entries.

Fair level of form in both starts to date including win at Wolverhampton AW in February. More needed here though and has to raise his game under his winner's penalty.

Kept on well to win Wolverhampton novice stakes over extended mile in December. First run since and capable of improvement but ability on turf remains an unknown.

£110,000 Dawn Approach colt looked backward and faded inside last 2f over 1m at Newbury in October. Type to do better this year and yard had first winner this term on Saturday so worth a market check.

Half-brother to six winners including Group 3 winer Sparkling beam. Holds no fancy entries though and makes racecourse debut here. Yard going well this term but may be better for this experience.

Gelded son of Showcasing who hinted at ability on second and final start last term. Looks the type to do better once handicapping and may find life tough in this company at level weights.

100,000 guineas son of 2000 Guineas and dual Derby hero Camelot, out of maiden mare from family of US Grade 1 winner. Ran well for much of the way until tiring late on at Nottingham last October and should do much better this term.

240,000 guineas son of Holy Roman Emperor but was gelded last term and didn't show a huge amount on racecourse bow at Kempton last month. Has time to improve but this looks a tough task.

By Cacique out of dam who is half-sister to a French 2000 Guineas winner. Cost 36,000 euros as a yearling. Makes racecourse debut and likley to be better for the outing unless market suggests otherwise.

105,000 guineas son of Teofilo, was gelded before racecourse debut last year. Hinted at ability on both starts so far on AW over 1m4f and drop back in trip won't harm. Looks more of a handicapping prospect in due course.

Dansili colt whose dam is half-sister to a French Group 1 winner. Looks the part on paper but holds no big entries. Yard going through a quiet spell so might prove better for this first outing.

By Teofilo and is half-brother to a Group 2 winner. Makes his racecourse debut having been gelded last year. Family go well with cut in the ground and any market interest would be worthy of note.

Showed very little in two starts last term and has subsequently been gelded. Races in first time hood here but on evidence to date faces a very stiff task and can't be fancied.

By Henrythenavigator out of dam who won at up to 9f, but cost only £1,800 as a yearling . Yard not known for debutant winners and a watching brief is best advised for now.

It won't be easy for FAJJAJ to give away his winner's penalty to most of these rivals but he showed a good level of form last term and could be the type to progress this campaign. Imaginative looks a big danger having hinted at better to come on his only outing last season and hailing from a yard that warrants plenty of respect. Newcomer Laughing Stranger holds some fancy entries and will need to show plenty to justify those hopes, while it wouldn't surprise to see decent efforts from the likes of Loyal Promise, Allied, and Colenso, among others.
