E Si Si Muove527
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Henry Brooke| T: A Crook
50/1
50-1 and raced keenly before also encountering a trouble passage on debut in a Newcastle maiden bumper (good to soft) in November 2016. Has not been seen since and a watching brief looks advisable.

Second foal of an unraced full-sister to bumper/2m hurdle winner Sharadiyn, half-sister to 2m-2m2f Flat/2m4f-3m hurdle winner Sharadi. Nice enough pedigree but stable 0-11 in bumpers in past five season so probably one to watch on debut.
Has produced three similar efforts to make the frame in each start so far, including here (good to soft) on the second of those in November. Had wind surgery prior to last run when soft ground may not have helped at Bangor.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: D A Jacob| T: B Pauling

8-1 and ran keen on debut, probably not helping his cause when just hanging on to be 6L second to the favourite. Third that day was beaten just 1L next time and if his pilot can get him to settle better here he could be the one they have to beat.
5
Horse silk
100/1
Well beaten at 33-1 and then 100-1 in bumpers and Warwick and Fakenham. Did improve in that second outing and may do so again here but needs plenty of that to figure.
6
Horse silk
14/1
13-2 and made a reasonable debut when 10L fifth of nine here in November (good to soft) considering he unseated his pilot on the way to post. A half-brother to Cheltenham Festival winner Attaglance, he can probably get more competitive today.

6-1 and far from disgraced on debut in a Newton Abbot maiden bumper (2m1f, good to soft) in July. Was taken out of intended engagement in a Listed Cheltenham event in November with a vet's certificate and now returns to the racecourse.

€20,000 foal who increased in value to €45,000 at three. Sixth foal of a French Flat winner over extended 7f, 1m7f-2m2f hurdle (inc. Listed) and chase winner. Stable well below its usual 12% strike rate in this sphere this season at 0-24.

Third foal. Half-brother to bumper winner Rosemary Russett out of a maiden point-to-point winning half-sister to 2m4f/3m1f chase winner Strongbows Legend and a 2m6f hunter chase/multiple point-to-point winner.

Orkan120
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford
33/1
Sent off at just 7-1 for his Ayr debut in November but beaten 17L on heavy ground there and then 16L at Newcastle (soft) in December. Steps up to longer trip this time but arrives with something to prove.
Sixth foal. Half-brother to 2m-2m3f hurdle winner Lutin Des Taillons. Dam achieved little Flat/hurdle, half-sister to 1m-1m2f winner Ma Fabienne, 2m4f-3m1f cross-country chase winner Lotus Des Teillons and to dam of smart 2m chaser Gardefort.

Vamanos
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Aidan Coleman| T: O Murphy
6/1
Cost €60,000 as a foal and that increased to €90,000 at three. Fourth foal of an unraced half-sister to 7f Flat/2m hurdle winner Bula Rose and 2m4f hurdle winner Banusal out of 1m4f Flat/smart juvenile hurdle winner.

Forecasts

Legal Eyes (3/1), Inheritance Thief (4/1), Vamanos (6/1), The Grey Enforcer (7/1), Elton Des Mottes (8/1), Midnight Sonata (8/1), Rockery Garden (8/1), Northern Soul (14/1), Mr Scrumpy (16/1), Orkan (33/1), E Si Si Muove (50/1), Fixed Asset (66/1), Mr Snips (100/1)

17:40 Market Rasen - 22 April 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Experience often counts for plenty in these contests and therefore Inheritance Tax again has to be considered but after three runs he is more exposed than LEGAL EYES, who ran well in spite of being headstrong on debut and is probably capable of going one better. Northern Soul and Rockery Garden can both build on their first efforts, while newcomers Fixed Asset, Elton Des Mottes, Mr Scrumpy, The Grey Enforcer and Vamanos are all worth checking for market confidence.
  1. Legal Eyes
  2. Inheritance Thief
  3. The Grey Enforcer
