Half-brother to three winners out of a dam who had some smart relations. Well beaten on debut at Haydock (1m, good to soft) in the autumn for David O'Meara, should make progress this term for new trainer.

Bated Breath half-brother to five winners including the useful Urban Fox. Placed over 7f on debut 10 days on Kempton's AW. Should learn from that, tougher race here.

Bated Breath colt, makes debut here. Yard had reasonable record with three-year-old in 2017 (12-86, 16 more placed). Worth noting in betting.

Mayson gelding, doesn't have the greatest draw in one for this debut amongst a big field, though does get the presence of Adam Kirby on board to assist.

Invincible Spirit colt, closely related to Richard Of Yorke and Pacharana and dam was a juvenile winner over this trip and sister to Group 1 winner St Nicholas Abbey. Promise in both two-year-old runs, placed in both, and has to be on any shortlist.

Havana Gold colt makes first appearance in Qatar colours for in-form trainer / jockey combination and should be capable of having his say.

Son of Elzaam purchased for 3,000 gns at the horses-in-training sales last May. Sent off 100/1 and finished long way last of six on debut at Chelmsford (7f, AW) last month and hard to see him playing a forward role now in new cheekpieces.

Fastnet Rock colt related to a couple of winners from 6f-1m, chased home useful-looking Willie John on debut at Yarmouth (7f, good) in October. Represents winning trainer / owner from last year, should be in the thick of it.

Mizzen Mast brother to two winners (Lanyard and Harbour Master) and half-brother to three more. Unfancied 33/1 when third over C&D in novice stakes last back end. No trouble with forecast ground and Moore booked.
Colt out of Al Kazeem, represents in-form trainer (29%) and jockey (21%) and warrants a second look ahead of this racecourse debut.

Invincible Spirit gelding hails from a good family and cost a whopping €420,000 as a yearling. Weakened to finish last of six in sole juvenile outing on Newmarket's July Course (7f, good to soft). Likely to prove that running wrong in time.

By Declaration of War and a half-brother to the winning stayer Captain Peacock. Didn't set the world on fire in pair of juvenile runs at Sandown (1m, good) and Kempton (1m2f, AW) in September.

Colt be Teofilo representing in-form Godolphin handler on debut (4-8 previous fortnight), not hard to see him getting involved at the business end.

Al Kazeem filly out of a dam who was a winning sprinter and picked up a Listed race in Italy. Yard have a modest record with this age group on this track, well held in 6½f soft-ground maiden in October and plenty to find up in trip on return.

MAPPED was an unfancied runner on debut over C&D in the autumn but he defied early keenness to finish a strong third. The combination of an in-form yard and Ryan Moore being booked is enough to suggest he'll take a good step forward this afternoon. Equally, Humbolt Current shaped well on debut at Yarmouth when finishing fast from an unpromising position to be second behind what appears a useful yardstick, he is another key player here for connections that took this a year ago. Boing is well related and should come on for his recent AW third on debut while newcomers Team Decision and Skydiving are worth paying attention to.
