Shamardal gelding, should be suited by this trip on debut based on pedigree. Wears a hood and likely to shape well for the Oxx yard. Owners also have Shamad in this line-up.

Gelded son of Showcasing sent off big prices and no impact in two starts in Britain for Andi Brown. Will have to show marked improvement for new trainer to get involved at the business end.

Just the one run in France for Andre Fabre, failing to justify market position in 1m soft-ground at Saint-Cloud 11 months ago, should be more in the offing with time.

Half-brother to useful performers Sholaan and Jazz Princess, needs to improve on three maidens runs last season to score, but could run into the money.

Cape Cross gelding changed hands for 42,000 gns as a yearling, pedigree appears to have more of an emphasis on stamina so perhaps best watched on debut.

Surprise winner of a bumper at Tramore in December, unable to build on that at Naas in February, or in maiden hurdle at Gowran Park last month. Unlikely sort on Flat debut.

Bated Breath gelding out of a Desert Prince mare, narrowly beaten over this trip at Leopardstown on second start in October. Should be more to come returned from a break.

Best effort for some time when close second in 1m maiden on the AW at Dundalk last month. Entitled to go close if repeating that form here.

50/1
Excelebration has raced too keenly for his own good in two starts on the AW at Dundalk and struggling to see his races out as a consequence. Turf debut.

One of his better efforts came here a year ago in 7f good-ground maiden, though not the most trustworthy of characters and unable to justify market support on AW at Dundalk in January when last out.

Experienced hurdler, got off the mark at Roscommon in July when last spotted (16th run). Sure to find this test a lot sharper on return and seemingly holding minor claims on Flat bow.

Horse silk
100/1
Gelding hasn't beaten a single rival home in four starts on AW/turf over a variety of trips and is impossible to make a case for here on that evidence.

Horse silk
Amthaal
Age: 4|  Weight: 9-2| J: D O'Brien| T: J P O'Brien
8/1
A 6,000 gns three-year-old Exceed And Excel filly, bred to have speed and stay this trip. Makes debut for the O'Brien brothers and bears closer inspection in the betting.

Horse silk
66/1
Echo Of Light mare, uncompetitive in four national hunt bumpers and similar tale on trio of AW maidens over variety of trips. Best watched on return to the turf.

15:00 Limerick - 21 April 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Not the easiest of maidens and it might be worth chancing AGENT ZIGZAG on debut for John Oxx. He's a half-brother to Jaega, who made an impressive winning start for the Weld yard recently and could be up to landing what isn't the strongest of maidens. Longoddson improved on his second start at Leopardstown in October and there should be more to come from him, albeit he might want further than this in time. Saga Altais isn't exactly consistent but can get involved with a repeat of the recent Dundalk run while French import Amthaal can win races for his new trainer.
