Third of six beaten just over 1L when third of 16 behind Vengeful at Thurles in October. Beaten on the Flat since including a 3 ¾ L defeat at Dundalk earlier this month. Should be ready to run well here.

Ridden at the rear for most of the way on debut in a Fairyhouse bumper when never a factor in December. First time hood unlikely to bring required improvement.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: M A Enright| T: N Madden
25/1
Poor in to point-to-point efforts and not a lot to shout about in two career maiden hurdle starts since February. Unlikely to play a part here.
4
Horse silk
25/1
Will have disappointed powerful connections in a number of drab displays over hurdles in November. Vast improvement needed here.
5
Horse silk
40/1
Disappointing debut was followed by a 25L defeat in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle at the start of the month. Hard to fancy before showing signs of any ability.
Ridden in rear for most of the way when never a factor on debut in a Cork maiden hurdle at the beginning of the month when pulled up before three out. May struggle once again.

50/1
Modest 67-rated handicapper on the Flat for Roger Charlton before joining current yard. Well beaten at Dundalk on the AW in November and market possibly best guide on hurdling debut here.
8

Tailed off 88L on second career hurdle start at Ballinrobe earlier this month when ridden in rear for the majority of the race.
9

Daughter of Cloudings out of a Beneficial mare related to Many Clouds, Cloudy Dream and recent Kelso winner Lowandbehold. Interesting newcomer and best watched in the market.

Signs of ability in seven outings on the Flat but finished well beaten in a handicap on his final start for Joseph Murphy. Yet to transfer that form over.

Yeats gelding and a half-brother to a winner of a 2m maiden hurdle. lost touch after a number of errors on debut in a Down Royal maiden hurdle last month. Will possibly need the race.

1/1
66-rated Flat handicapper for Karl Burke and has shown glimpses of promise in three hurdle starts finishing close behind smart sorts. Needs to improve but should have too much for these.
15
Horse silk
16/1
Son of Mahler out of a Kalanisi mare related to smart types Ok Corral, Mahler Lad and Ms Parfois. Looks a long-term prospect.

The Denis Hogan-trained/ridden Turbine and fourth on debut behind subsequent winner Monatonic, Kellyiscool can give a good account of themselves here continuing their improvement but may face stiff opposition from KURAKA on return to hurdling following a spin on the AW at Dundalk in February. The Gordon Elliott-trained four-year-old has shown plenty of promise and is likely to be a warm order here.
  1. Kuraka
  2. Turbine
  3. Kellyiscool
