Got to go back to 2016 to find his last win but has been set some fairly stiff tasks and will find this easier. Hard to know exactly what ability remains but yard ticking along nicely and with trip and ground to suit, isn't to be dismissed.

Getting the hang of things very quickly now he's growing physically and could not have won any easier at Kempton last week. Penalty to carry here but that will hardly stop him if he's in the same mood, with further improvement likely.

Winner on soft ground last November but two much lesser efforts since then, and was tailed off again at Taunton last time. Hard to recommend at present, with yard still very quiet.

Knocking on the door and did nothing wrong when just touched off at Bangor latest, battling on well to be beaten a neck. Handicapper nudges him up 2lb for that but still looks on a fair mark if his Flat ability is anything to go by.

Modest overall strike rate but this drying ground is a plus and there's been occasions this season when he still looks like he has something to offer. Low enough mark if he can recapture his best but on balance, others hold stronger claims.

Slowly but surely refinding a bit of form and only weakened out of it late in the day at Fakenham last time. Unexposed and should have plenty more to offer, so for a yard that get plenty of winners here, goes on the shortlist.

Two runs back from a long absence rather suggest he's not found his form as yet and this trip probably on the short side as well. Best watched at present.

Had been in grand form over hurdles when last seen and blew a few cobwebs away on the Flat at Lingfield last month, although could have fared better, in truth. Still, only 1lb higher than last winning mark and likely ground fine, so not ruled out.

Risk And Roll (10/11), Tara Bridge (5/2), Rebel Collins (7/2), Mellow Ben (7/1), Master Of Finance (8/1), Le Precieux (9/1), Pointed And Sharp (20/1), Shimba Hills (25/1), Thats My Rabbit (33/1)

REBEL COLLINS deserves to win one after a couple of close efforts on his last two starts and this looks a suitable opportunity to do so. He can take this at the expense of Risk And Roll who is going the right way and should have more improvement in the locker. Shimba Hills, Tara Bridge and Mellow Ben all hold claims in a tricky opener.
