We've entered the transitional period between seasons, and a number of these horses have proved well suited to racing at Newcastle over the winter months including Paddyplex, Zabeel Star, Trooper's Gold and Theglasgowwarrior. However, the level of competition is beginning to strengthen a notch or two. Seven Clans seeks the hat-trick for Neil Muholland, but his chances are hit by the widest draw of all. Therefore, the standout horse is the recent Chelmsford winner EXTRA MILE. The visor was discarded for her seasonal reappearance, which showed her in a totally different light, and punters should take notice of Gerald Mosse's presence at Newcastle.
