Cotswold Mini Juvenile Maiden Hurdle

Won three times on the Flat when trained by Mark Johnston, but has been unable to translate that ability to hurdles in three attempts. Finished a distant third over C&D last time, but this looks his easiest assignment so far.

A modest €4,000 purchase in November, he is a half-brother to five French winners from 2m1f-2m3f over hurdles and 2m6f over fences. Behind Aardwolf when fifth of 10 over C&D on debut last month so clearly has work to do.

Middle-distance winner on the Flat who has shown an aptitude for hurdling in four starts over timber. Returns from a break and looks to have been found a decent opportunity to shed his maiden tag.

Maiden on the Flat and in three starts over hurdles. Well beaten at Bangor last time and needs to show much more if he is to figure.

Showed little in three maidens on the Flat when trained by Alan King. Makes his hurdling debut for a new stable and is worth a look in the betting market.
