Came home 5L clear of his rivals when winning over 2m at Wetherby (heavy) in February and was narrowly beaten off a 7lb higher mark at Ayr a month ago. Has to defy a further 3lb rise but is an interesting runner today.
In good form earlier this season following up a Sedgefield win with two placed efforts at Catterick. One for the shortlist if putting his disappointing Bangor effort last time out behind him.
Best effort since returning from over a year of the track came when finishing third over an extended 2m3f at Catterick (soft) in January. Absent since finishing well beaten at Doncaster two weeks later and wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Dual winner on the Flat but well held over hurdles including when beaten 40L into third at Market Rasen (soft) last time out. More needed if he's to take this contest.
Recorded his first placed effort over hurdles when finishing 9L second in a selling handicap at Catterick (soft) last time out. Races off a 5lb lower mark today but this looks a tougher contest.
12 time winner over jumps including off a 3lb higher mark over 2m at Ayr (heavy) 13 months ago. Well held in two starts since finishing third at Newcastle (soft) in January.
Winner on good ground at Worcester in a first time visor in September and placed twice subsequently for previous trainer Alex Dunn. Well held on stable debut at Wolverhampton in February and best form has come on much quicker ground.
Well beaten over C&D on good-to-soft ground a fortnight ago on his second outing since joining this yard. Races off a mark 2lb lower than for his sole hurdles success and wears a hood for the first time today.

Skywards Reward (15/8), Astaroland (7/2), Hit And Run (5/1), Young Tom (10/1), Fort Jefferson (11/1), Frightened Rabbit (11/1), The Kid (16/1), Rapid Fritz (25/1), Suprise Vendor (33/1), Tekiblue de L'Orme (66/1)
Top weight SKYWARDS REWARD has been running well of late and he is taken to provide jockey Hugo Thompson Brown with his first winner at this venue by following up his Ayr second with victory today. The selection has looked an improved performer in recent starts and is taken to get the better of Hit And Run who can put a disappointing latest effort behind him by claiming second while the first time cheekpieces can see Astaroland finish third for a stable who are in good form at present.
