Makes his Fibresand debut having last been seen over hurdles at the latter end of last year (ran with credit). Capable of a good run if he takes to this surface with the mark looking one he can be competitive off.

Sure to attract attention in the market given the jockey booking and one of four C&D winners in the race. Didn't need to improve to take her maiden here and has been disappointing in two handicaps since and now dropped 2lb; could bounce back.

Now in another change of headgear (first-time visor) making his Fibresand debut having bled when last seen in a handicap on Tapeta. This represents a slight drop in grade but the handicapper has plenty to work with and more needed on his return.

Fair performer but it took a drop into selling grade on turf (1m2f) for him to win on his penultimate start before perhaps not quite getting home last time (1m4f). This will be his Fibresand debut significantly down in trip back from a break.

Best form came on his last run for his previous yard at Brighton (1m, heavy) off a mark of 62 before he was well held in a first-time tongue-tie on his stable debut. Now makes his Fibresand debut with questions to answer.

Improved on his second run for this yard when taking a 7f handicap here off a 3lb lower mark. Faced a stiff task to follow-up under a penalty and matched his winning form; now tries a mile but with the considerable assistance of a top amateur.

Started off his Fibresand career in good style but has rather lost his way since despite a falling mark and showed no signs of taking advantage of a good opportunity last time. Hard to recommend at the moment even in this grade.

Often been there and thereabouts on Fibresand and finally managed to nail his second win on the surface last time out 14lb lower than his first win. Hardly the most consistent but the second from last time has won since; decent amateur on board.

Looked the sort who was being brought along with handicaps in mind but showed very little switched into this sphere on Fibresand last time. Hard to make much of case given that last run off the same mark here.

A record of 0/25 on the Flat sums him up and he looks very limited in any sphere these days and would be a shock winner here.

Becoming more and more unreliable but with his course record (15/120) he's never one to be totally written off around here. Getting on for 16 months now since his last win and looks a hard ride for an amateur as he takes some knowing.

Looking more and more untrustworthy of late and showed very little on his last start here (1m6f) not taking much interest from a long way out. Hard to see his demeanour being any different here over a shorter trip.

16:55 Southwell - 4 April 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Not a strong end to the card by any means with sound recent form rather thin on the ground but anything ridden by Serena Brotherton in these type of races is bound to attract attention with AFRICAN TRADER looking to have found his feet on Fibresand and he’s given a chance to get back on the winning trail. Limerick Lord generally runs well here and has the services of the competent Ross Birkett and he should go well having regained the winning thread last time. Simon Walker is another big positive as a jockey booking and that makes the filly Isstoora who has already won over C&D of interest while Snookered is another to note if he takes to the surface.
