Justified favouritism to land 2m maiden hurdle at Naas in February, more on plate not in a handicap and stable have been finding winners hard to come by recently.

Well fended off in hot Leopardstown handicap at Christmas, has had a prep on the AW on Dundalk but, rated just 1lb lower, facing another stiff ask.

Filly was game to win Clonmel maiden (2m3½f, soft to heavy) in November on third start over hurdles. Absent since, she may have more to come but hasn't been given any gift off this opening mark.

Beaten favourite last time out in a Gowran Park maiden hurdle that left him without a win in seven hurdle starts, though has mixed it with some fair sorts in that run and often placed. Market check now handicapping.

Rallied strongly under duress to score at Limerick (2m, heavy) last month, carries penalty for that success but improving sort likely to be in the mix again.

Well beaten in quartet of maiden hurdles thus far, goes handicapping for the first time now and Geraghty being on board may suggest better is expected. Watch betting.

Has been well fended off by some of these rivals already in maiden hurdles, will need to improve markedly if hoping to record a win on handicap bow.

Showed very little in maidens, but improved markedly since going handicapping, with two wins from three runs including over C&D. Won decisively last time at Naas (2m, soft) in February and duly gone up 13lb in the ratings for his trouble.

Yet to find the frame in five starts over hurdles, still has time on his side in that regard but work on to reverser C&D form with Chesterfield King from February meeting.

Has shown some level of promise in trio of maiden hurdles so far, yard are in fair form (2-14) and an improved showing on handicap debut is a possibility.

Much-improved effort when only just touched off over C&D on New Year's Day on testing ground. Only 4lb higher now and scope to do better for trainer capable of targeting this sort of prize.

Winner over fences at Wexford (2m4f) and hurdles at Sligo (3m) last summer, poor effort off this mark at the latter venue in September when last spotted. Returning from 223-day off in a deep field.

Off the mark at fifth time of asking at Wexford (2m, heavy) on St Patrick's Day, raised 8lb and taking on better rivals in a stronger race now, will have to improve.

Beaten wide margins in three maiden hurdles at Limerick, Clonmel and Naas, each over 2m3f, gets in here in lenient mark if he is able to leave those efforts behind. Worth market check.

Yard have been finding winners hard to come by and this one has just over 10L to find with Icario from their recent tussle in a maiden at Down Royal.

14:10 Fairyhouse - 2 April 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

An ultra-competitive heat, CORRI LINDO produced an improved effort here on New Year's Day and has further scope for doing better for Tony Martin from a 4lb higher mark. He should run a big race. Recent Wexford Quamino is improving, while Icario finally got off the mark last time and may benefit from that. Chesterfield King and Pete So High are worth paying attention to in what should be a competitive betting heat.
  1. Corri Lindo
  2. Quamino
  3. Chesterfield King
