Broke his maiden when winning over hurdles at Thurles (soft) in November and placed twice in that sphere since. Held behind a progressive rival last time out and interesting on his return to fences.
11 race maiden but came within a head of registering a first success when narrowly beaten on yielding ground at Leopardstown earlier this month. One for the shortlist once more.
Winner of five of his 18 starts under rules including on heavy ground over 2m here recently. Raised 7lb for that success and was placed over an extended 2m7f at Thurles prior to that.
Returned to form when winning over C&D on heavy ground last week. Has been raised 6lb for that victory and it will be interesting to see if he can repeat that effort today.
Had just the three starts under rules but ran well to finish third behind Betterthanalright when making his handicap debut over C&D last week and he remains open to improvement.
17 race maiden and struggled so far in 2018 including in a handicap hurdle at Navan (2m4f, soft-to-heavy) last time out. Probably best watched at present.
Well held when finishing third on heavy ground at Navan (3m) in January and finished well beaten in a banks race last time out. Return to regulation fences should suit.
20 race maiden and well held behind a couple of today's rivals when finishing sixth over C&D last time out. Others have a more obvious chance in this contest.
Forecasts
Luckyinmilan (2/1), Se Mo Laoch (9/2), Enduring Love (5/1), Betterthanalright (13/2), Highest Benefit (8/1), The Church Gate (8/1), Fergiethelegend (14/1), De Danu's Bach (25/1)
ENDURING LOVE performed well when making his handicap debut here last week and he can register his first victory in this competitive handicap chase. His conqueror on that occasion Betterthanalright looks worth noting once more but may have to give best to Luckyinmilan in the battle for second while the maiden Se Mo Laoch is another to consider having been narrowly beaten last time.
