Successful on two of his last three starts and bumped into a useful winner when defeated he makes his Fibresand debut giving weight all round. Sire has had some success here and should put his experience to good use.
Looked a rather awkward sort when running here recently and blew the start on that occasion (100/1 chance). Now down in trip but hard to support under these circumstances.
Not seen since last season when he had shown some promise on his debut (5f) but failed to build on that over a furlong further when running freely at Doncaster. Now gelded he makes his Fibresand debut and my do better now.
Both of his runs after his debut have shown promise and he was left with too much to do when last seen in a first-time hood. Headgear retained for his Fibresand debut (sire/stable have a good record here); of interest if ready to go after a break.
Looked as though there was going to be better to come after her debut but disappointed on her next and only subsequent start. Now back from a break and trying this surface for the first time; stable tend to do well here.
Returns from a recent run in a Lingfield handicap where she was slow away and looked rather laboured before running on late. Now switches to a new surface but needs to better/improve on that run and others appeal more.
Forecasts
Kion (1/1), Big Brave Bob (4/1), Walk On Walter (4/1), Mother of Dragons (7/1), Dubai Classic (16/1), Kindler (100/1)
Race fitness may just give KION the edge over his main rival Walk On Walter with both of them trying this surface for the first time. Big Brave Bob and Dubai Classic may well be able to do better than their turf starts last year but both have an absence to overcome trying this surface for the first time.
