Made just the six career starts so far, and one of those came in the 2017 1,000 Guineas (finished 13 of 14 to Winter). Unproven over this trip, but is a sister to a 1m4f winner. Mark easing for AW/seasonal debut.

5/1
A four time career winner on turf (1m1f-1m2f). 0 from 5 on the AW, but the bulk of those efforts came here over 1m4f, and that trip perhaps stretches her stamina. First start since early October and stablemate of Ce La Vie.

New Approach filly with a decent pedigree, so no surprise that she cost 75,000 gns in December 2017 (ex Michael Halford). Finished a comfortably held third to Morning Skye on stable debut over C&D earlier this month.

Consistent, but unfortunately for connections she seldom manages to win a race (1 from 24). Her Southwell success came over 1m and she needs to prove she stays this trip, but could be aided by a slowly run race (possible).

Rosie Hallp68
Age: 8|  Weight: 8-2| J: A Mullen| T: J S Wainwright| OR:  45
150/1
A 30 race maiden (0 from 11 on the AW) who seldom manages to beat a single rival. Miles out of the handicap and likely to be miles behind the other four in the race.

Forecasts

Amuletum (11/8), Ce La Vie (9/4), Dose (4/1), Maulesden May (5/1), Rosie Hall (150/1)

19:10 Newcastle - 27 March 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

A gilt edged opportunity for AMULETUM to enhance her paddocks value with that all important first victory. With Dose having questionable stamina reserves over this trip, it would be no surprise to see Paul Mulrennan seek to exploit those all too obvious flaws, but should the early pace be steady, the Fahey trained mare could be the in-running play. Of the others, Rosie Hall has no chance whatsoever and Ce La Vie is the least exposed of the Keith Dalgleish trained pair (AW debut).
