Winner on good ground at Ludlow in November and ran well to finish runner-up at Sandown (good-to-soft) subsequently. Vulnerable here following a 7lb rise in the weights.
Successful over hurdles in France and recorded his first victory for this yard when winning at Market Rasen (soft) early last month. One for the shortlist on today's handicap debut.
Heavy ground winner on his second start over hurdles at Warwickin January but well beaten at Haydock since. Interesting if putting that disappointing effort behind him on today's handicap debut.
Finished runner-up on both starts over hurdles most recently on soft ground at Hereford in January. Market support would be interesting on handicap debut.
Placed twice from three starts over hurdles but well beaten behind Mister Chow at Warwick (2m, heavy) last time out and work to do if he's to reverse that form in a first time tongue tie on handicap debut.
By far his best effort in three hurdles starts came when finishing 21L third in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham (2m1f, soft) in January. Maiden under all codes however and more needed on handicap debut.
Placed twice over hurdles but well held off this mark on handicap debut at Musselburgh (soft) in January and has been beaten in a jumpers bumper since. Tongue tie is reapplied today.

Oistrakh Le Noir (11/10), Mister Chow (13/2), Haulani (13/2), Ulysses (7/1), Falcon Sun (7/1), Phoenix Dawn (16/1), Nigh Or Never (16/1), Cold Shoulder (20/1)
OISTRAKH LE NOIR looks capable of making a winning handicap debut following an impressive victory at Market Rasen lastmonth. Ben Pauling's charge showed some useful form in France and can take this with Mister Chow capable of finishing second today. Haulani is an interesting runner from the North and he can finish third on this occasion.
