Has beaten just one horse home in each of her two starts so far (both on Polytrack including at this course). Tough to see her improving on those efforts.

Literato filly who ran in two bumpers, not really having an impact on either but at least improving between the two runs. Could lack the tactical pace for this trip.

Beaten 15L into third last time but that was a slightly oddly run race due to a runaway odds-on winner. Interesting to see if she can follow up that placing in a more open affair here.

Last of all and beaten 20L on her first run at Lingfield last time out. Up in trip here but much better is needed, including at the start.

Showed signs of greenness on debut at Wolverhampton last time, so for all that that was a poor run there's every chance she can improve on it.

Usually runs her race even though she is yet to really seriously threaten to get off the mark. No obvious improvement stepped up in trip last time but this may be a weaker race.

0-7 in her career but has run to a fair level, including in handicaps, and should be able to give a good account in what looks a fairly weak maiden. Blinkers on.

Much better on debut on Polytrack than on her most recent start on turf, so it's encouraging to see switched back to this surface. Considerable improvement is still needed, however.

Showed a fair amount of improvement on her second start last time, which was her first at this course. Up in trip now and may be able to progress again to challenge.

Runner-up in a Lingfield handicap two starts ago, early signs over intermediate trip last time weren't good, so interesting that connections step her slightly up in trip again.

Poorest effort to date when last seen at Leicester in October, and steps up markedly in trip for AW debut. Needs to arrest the decline in her form she's shown so far.

Last of all and beaten 16L on debut at Newcastle in February. Plenty more is obviously required here so others make much more appeal.

19:15 Kempton - 21 March 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

This is a weak enough maiden that probably won't take too much winning. India is of interest if continuing with the improvement she showed on her second start last time out, but preference is for BARBARA VILLIERS. She may not be the most progressive of fillies but she has run well on just about all of her starts so far, and this looks a much more realistic assignment as she looks to get off the mark at the sixth attempt. Deadly Reel is another danger, especially if first-time blinkers work as intended.
  1. Barbara Villiers
  2. India
  3. Deadly Reel
