Improved from Rules debut to finish third of nine at Cork before failing to build on that run finishing seventh of nine well beaten 35L at Punchestown last month. Tough ask and others preferred.

8/11
Improving with every run finishing second of 21 beaten 1½L behind Whisperinthebreeze in a Naas maiden last month over 2m. Improvement looks to be on the cards here.

Horse silk
16/1
Didn't show much when campaigned in point-to-points and has beaten well beaten on five starts under Rules. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
6
Horse silk
66/1
Morozov gelding out of a Video Rock mare related to game jumpers Opening Batsman, Eduard and seven-time winner Jayo Time. Disappointed on debut when always behind finishing 18th of 20 beaten 88L in January. Vast improvement needed to figure.

25/1
Finished sixth of seven beaten 56L following a four month lay-off at Leopardstown earlier this month. Very little to be positive about.
Gelding by Ask out of a Saddlers' Hall mare related to four recent winners including Gleno and Uttoxeter 2m4f victor Just Don't Ask. Market to reveal expectations.
9
Horse silk
100/1
Cheap purchase by Mahler out of a Busy Flight mare related to Market Rasen St Stephens Day winner Randy Pike. Nothing of any note in three gloomy efforts under rules. Looks opposable.

The Granson23
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-12| J: D G Hogan| T: D Hogan
7/4
Not disgraced in two career maiden hurdles at Naas in February 2016 and Gowran Park in September. Beaten in two bumpers since but worth a market check returning over timber.

Western Sea81
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: A McCurtin(5)| T: J J Walsh
50/1
Has disappointed connections in a number of dismal efforts this season and requires a chunk of improvement to play a role here.
12
Horse silk
25/1
Gelding by Ask out of a Shantou mare related to four recent winners including Gleno and Uttoxeter 2m4f victor Just Don't Ask. Market to reveal expectations. Market possibly best guide to chance.
13
Horse silk
33/1
Beaten 50L or more in three maiden hurdle starts since December. Well out of his depth in this company.

15:15 Limerick - 19 March 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Jockey Cathal Landers could let Hussle Up take up the mantle and lead in the early stages of this contest with Doctor P's Getaway following in behind. The Gordon Elliott-trained CREZIC will not be far of the lead and will be waiting for the best time to make a winning move under Jockey- Jack Kennedy breaking the geldings maiden tag. Given his two maiden hurdle starts, The Granson should follow the selection home.
  1. Crezic
  2. The Granson
