Winner at Kelso when last seen and not dismissed from a 7lb higher mark. Sound jumper, gets his optimum ground and trip no issue here but there's every chance he could need this run. Leading claims if 100% fit.

In excellent form under both codes lately and only up 4lb for his win over C&D in January. Has won here over hurdles since and likely to go well again with top northern jockey on board and more scope from this mark.

Recorded a hat-trick of point-to-point wins in 2016 and landed a hunter chase for previous yard when trained in Ireland last year. Shaped as if amiss on debut for this yard at Kelso and may needs this after an absence.

A versatile sort who generally goes well here. Hat-trick bid was thwarted when finishing last here in December but he's better than that and he's been freshened up since. Interesting runner.

Becoming well-handicapped on his old form but very much out of sorts lately and getting long in the tooth now. Starts out for a new yard here and needs to a dramatic bounce back to form to land a blow.

Losing run goes all the way back to 2016 when trained by Charlie Longsdon and merely placed once in 13 starts for this yard. Not disgraced on return to action last month but needs plenty more against some in form sorts.

CHAIN OF BEACONS is good at his fences and with ground and trip sure to suit, he's the one to side with provided he's fully fit on his return to action. If he is in need of the run, Nefyn Bay looks capable of running well and has course and distance form to his name. John Williams is the best of the remainder and while the seven-year-old was disappointing when pulled up last time, he's been given time to recover from that effort.
