Turned in a career best over C&D having shaped well in his previous outing (jumpers bumper) on Tapeta looking a real natural on Fibresand. Scored with a ton in hand and should make a bold bid to defy a penalty in similar grade.
Always runs well on this surface often travelling easily although he may be best at more extreme trips than this. Has won his last two here over 2m2f but now has to cope with a shorter trip against a progressive rival.
Showed that she handles this surface when making her debut here recently over 2m2f but has work to do with Cousin Khee on that form. Her mark is workable and she is capable of winning on Fibresand but meets two thriving rivals here.
You have to go way back to 2013 and his German form to find anything that would make you want to support this one. Has shown little on the Flat for this yard and is now tried on a new surface in an eclectic headgear combination; nice one to rely on.
Ran respectably as he usually does here last time out but was out in his place by Cousin Khee to the tune of 6L. Hard to see him turning that form around over this shorter trip that he's never run over here; place chance at best.
Forecasts
Cousin Khee (11/8), The Resdev Way (13/8), Ruler Of The Nile (13/2), Lady Makfi (7/1), Slowfoot (20/1)
This looks to be a straight shoot out between two recent impressive winners on the Fibresand in THE RESDEV WAY and Cousin Khee the former gaining the vote over this trip which may suit him better than Hughie Morrison’s veteran. Both Lady Makfi /b> and Ruler of The Nile have been behind Cousin Khee of late and look to have a tough task reversing that form but will be battling out for the minor placing.
