Not without ability on the Flat (at around 1m) but has struggled to get competitive in two hurdles starts so far. Needs this for a handicap mark, and will be of more interest in those (and on better ground).
Early unseat last time hardly inspires confidence and looks one that simply needs more time anyway, based on debut at Hereford in November. Not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Definite signs of promise at Kempton in November and built on that effort when a good second at Ludlow last time. Looks one of the main players on that, with likely conditions fine here.
Signs of something better to come down the line on a couple of starts so far, but looks to be biting off a bit more than he can chew here, unless the wind surgery he's had since last being seen drastically improves him.
Gorgeous looker than will make a great chaser in time, and in retrospect faced mission impossible against the very useful Global Citizen at Southwell last time. Every chance of going one better here, with likely conditions no problem.
Not completely disgraced on hurdles debut here in January but not enough to think he's up to taking a hand in the finish here.
Low grade on the Flat and didn't pull any trees up on hurdles debut at Plumpton in December, although stuck to the task well enough to think he might win a handicap down the line. Plenty on today, though, and others preferred.
Won a point-to-point last year (in which only two finished) but no immediate promise on bumper debut at Exeter in December. No realistic chance here.
Useful at middle distances on the Flat (for John Oxx) and showed a bit of promise on debut for this yard at Taunton last month. Likely to improve, but possibly one for spring handicaps and others make more appeal.
Lovely chasing type, looked in need of the run at Southwell latest but turned in an eyecatching performance in fourth at a big price. Should improve and not to be discounted lightly here, makes some e/w appeal.
Not without ability at staying trips on the Flat but unseated his rider early on debut at Huntingdon last month and is best watched on that.
Winner on the Flat for William Haggas last year but very disappointing when made favourite on first start for new yard at Catterick, weakening too quickly for comfort. Needs to settle better before being considered a likely winner.
Not without ability on the Flat, but a very frustrating sort that was hard to win with. Not shown a lot in two hurdles starts and there are surely better win options here.

Some nice types for next year in this and they're headed up by EUXTON LANE, a grand sort that will take off once he sees fences. In typical fashion of the trainer, he's being brought along in small steps and can take this on the way to better things. Casterly Rock is another that's caught the eye a couple of times, both in the paddock and in his races, and he can prove the biggest danger to the selection. Don't discount The Cannister Man at bigger prices, he too looks an improver and again, caught the eye at Southwell.
