Beaten a total of 105L in three maidens, all over 7f, including here last time. Blinkers need to work miracles on that evidence and he is impossible to make a case for at present.
Won a 6f juvenile contest on debut at the Curragh last May when with Ger Lyons. Showed up well on debut for this trainer at Kempton (6f, Polytrack) last time and looks to have been found a good opportunity to get back to winning ways in this.
Improved for his Naas debut run when beaten just a head in a 17-runner field at the Curragh (6f) in August. Not seen since then and now makes debut for this yard after 35,000 gns purchase. Market check advised on All Weather debut.
Bought for £33,000 as a yearling. Second foal; half-brother to 5f/6f All Weather winner K'Gari out of a 5f-7f (inc AW) winner. Stable 0-9 with three-year-olds on AW surfaces so far, but precautionary market check prudent ahead of his debut.
Looked decidedly ordinary in two starts over this trip on turf last summer and was beaten 6L over C&D when returning from a 233-day absence last month. That form looks well short of what will be required to make an impact in this.
Sprang a bit of a surprise when drifting out to 16-1 before scoring over C&D last month. She should be capable of bettering that, given the lack of confidence first time, though will need significant improvement to see off a couple in this field.
Forecasts
Black Sails (8/15), Kion (5/2), Swiss Belle (13/2), Mountain Of Stars (40/1), Rickyroadboy (100/1), Ritas Legacy (200/1)
The filly BLACK SAILS made a very encouraging debut for this trainer at Kempton last time and is taken to go one better this time. Kion tries the All Weather for the first time here and there was plenty to like about his run in Ireland in August. If he takes to this then he could well be a threat on his debut for Jamie Osborne. C&D winner Swiss Belle makes most appeal of the remainder.
