Handles heavy ground. Was running fair race when unseating his amateur rider at last at Wincanton last time out. Decent conditinal booked and has very little weight. Stays the trip so is not without hope.

Won over 2m at Chepstow in November then outclassed when distant fourth in Grade 2 at this trip following month. Shade disappointing when favourite last two starts, but better show not ruled out and first time tongue-tie may well help.

Landin (11/4), Remiluc (3/1), Knocknanuss (4/1), Marley Firth (5/1), The Hollow Ginge (13/2), Never Equalled (7/1)

Although he's run well at this trip in the past, Remiluc, who ran such a fine race at Newbury last time, may be better over shorter and with his big weight will do well to score. That is certainly not ruled out, but marginal preference is for MARLEY FRITH, who can make the most of the lumps of weight he receives. The tongue-tie may spark a change in his fortunes. The other four all have claims in a tight-knit event and there could be better to come from The Hollow Ginge, Knocknanauss, and likely front-runner Landin.
