Winner of his only start over hurdles at Limerick in December 2016, returned from absence with promising run behind pair of better-fancied stablemates over this trip at Navan last month (third) and ought to build on that now.
Certainly doesn't appear a natural over fences, beaten a long way over this trip at Navan last month and again since at Thurles (2m, soft), though did at least complete having failed to get round on first two chase starts.
Winner on the Flat and over hurdles at the Listowel festival in September over 2m4f, makes chase debut and may be better suited by a longer trip.
Finished 40L third of six over 2m4f at Gowran Park last week on second chasing start. Has plenty to work on if hoping to improve on that today.
Without a victory over hurdles or fences at the age of 10. Not without signs of ability in six starts over fences, but others have stronger claims unless this shorter trip sparks an improvement.
Useful handicap hurdler at his best but better form has all come on good ground. Well held in pair of chase outings so far, latest being a 37L defeat 2m on heavy ground at Thurles this month.
Pulled-up on chasing debut at Navan over 2m4f on heavy ground last month and scarcely any better since when tailed off at Gowran Park on similar ground a week ago. Plenty more to find just to get competitive.
Fair hurdler, running well enough this season without threating to win really. Makes chase bow for in-form Elliott team with Russell booked to assist. One of the more likely sorts if taking to this discipline.
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler, made fair start over fences when third of seven (beaten 17½L) over this C&D recently, has more to uncover if hoping for better result but may do better in time.

CADMIUM produced a solid effort behind a couple of better-touted stablemates when third on his chase debut at Navan last month. He's got winning form over hurdles and is perfectly entitled to improve for that first outing in this sphere. He's given the nod to open his account for the champion trainer. Veinard also has some fair form over timber and can get involved if taking to this discipline quickly while Highland Fling has won on the Flat and over timber, and should be capable of doing likewise in this sphere before too long.
