Half-sister to Denman who made a very solid debut when fourth at Exeter in December. This yard's young horses often progress well so an improved showing can be expected here with his talented jockey claiming a useful 3lb.
Point-to-point winner in January at the fourth time of asking. This is a good starting point but may improve for more of a test in time.

14/1
Beaten 27L on debut under rules at Ffos Las last time but that winning margin may have been exaggerated by the testing ground. Still needs a considerably step forward here.
Wasn't the luckiest in-running when still performing to a fair level on debut at Hereford last month (finished fifth). Could well come on from that effort here, especially if enjoying a clearer passage.
Beaten just a head in his second run in a point-to-point and has since joined this top yard for £34,000. Holds claims on this debut under rules.

20/1
Beat Hollow mare who makes her debut with plenty of bumper winning form in her pedigree, though this yard has only two winners of these races in the past five years.
Winged Love gelding who cost £18,000 as a 3yo. Related to a couple of winners but other newcomers make more appeal.
Saddler Maker gelding who cost €45,000 as a 3yo. Dam won on the Flat but difficult to tell how he'll fare on debut in a bumper.

Given a tough enough introduction in a Listed bumper last time when well-beaten. This is easier and may be able to do much better.
10
Horse silk
13/2
Third (of only five) on debut at Chepstow earlier in the month. That looks a weak enough event but represents a top trainer.

33/1
Finished fifth beaten 27L in his only start in a point-to-point and difficult to see him progressing from that to making a winning debut under rules here.
Presenting gelding who cost €60,000 as a 3yo. Not much to go on in terms of pedigree but goes for a respected yard.

DENSFIRTH is a half-sister to the might Denman and will therefore probably appreciate further than this and possibly fences in time but for now she ran a very solid race in fourth on debut last time and could well get off the mark here under Bryony Frost. She claims 3lb and Paul Nicholls' young horse often progress well, so she looks the one to side with in what appears to be far from the strongest of bumpers. Dan Skelton's point-to-point runner-up Supremely Lucky and recent Chepstow third Kauto The King looks the likeliest threats.
  1. Densfirth
  2. Supremely Lucky
  3. Kauto The King
