Has run his race over C&D on his last three starts, and handicapper now gives him a chance for all his draw (widest of all) is far from ideal.

Showed promise in handicaps for previous trainer but yet to really get going for this yard. Hood is applied now but others still hold much more convincing claims.

0-20 but has looked likely to get off the mark in a couple of races over 7f/1m. Slightly puzzling to see him dropped in trip, however, and it's likely he'll lack the pace for this trip.

C&D winner who was only narrowly denied over 6f at Chelmsford last time out. Is better over this trip so encouraging to see him tried over this distance off the same mark.

Has run well in similar races to this on Polytrack in the past, including when only a length behind at Kempton two starts ago; holds place claims.

Five time C&D winner but well held here and elsewhere on recent starts despite a gradually shrinking handicap mark and look vulnerable to younger rivals.

0-14 in his career so far, easily best effort came on the AW but that was on Polytrack and recent performances have been some way off the required standard here.

Very well handicapped on his best form but a way off that level of late and is probably better on turf than the AW.

Only 1-47 in his career so far (though that one win did come over C&D). Only fifth in a weaker race than this at Chelmsford last time, though possible he could improve for the drop in trip.

No win since C&D victory almost two years ago and tough to see him returning to winning ways anytime soon based on recent form.

The obvious one here is ROY'S LEGACY. Not far away at Chelmsford last time over 6f he's actually better over the minimum trip (is a C&D winner), and therefore the return to this distance off an unchanged mark since that solid attempt makes him a very appealing prospect indeed, especially as many of these have little recent form of which to speak. Recent Kempton placer Popsilca is feared most while Go Charlie is another who could improve for the drop in trip.
