Wind operation appeared to make all the difference as he won in style at Chelmsford last month. Handicap debut and may still be the one to beat, although drops back in trip this time.
Showed promise when third on debut here a month agao but ran poorly on return visit a couple of weeks later. Hard to know what to expect this time and may do better once handicapped.
150,000 guineas colt by Sepoy of out German listed winner. Pedigree suggests he'll need every yard of this but yard's few runners this month have all run well, so not ruled out by any means on debut.
Fourth and stayed on on both starts today over 7f and 8f, so surprise to see her dropped back in trip unless a change of tactics are adopted and she tries to race prominently.
Two promising efforts last term but not seen since finishing fourth at Kempton in July. Dam's side all stay well so this daughter of Lord Shanakill may find things happening plenty fast enough after her absence.
78,000 guineas daughter of Accamation shaped very nicely when third at Wolverhampton over this trip five weeks ago. Had time to recover from her exertions and has to rate a danger if stepping forward from her first run.
Forecasts
Intense Pleasure (11/8), No More Thrills (3/1), Wide Acclaim (7/2), Downtown Mombasa (7/1), Folie Douze (22/1), Dolly Mixture (25/1)
NO MORE FRILLS caught the eye with an improved effort to score last time. Although he drops back in trip he still looks the one most likely to catch the judge's eye. Main danger may be the filly Wide Acclaim who looked to have a future with a solid first effort last month. Also of interest is debutant Intense Pleasure, a well bred colt whose yard has its horses in decent nick at this very early stage of the campaign.
