A four-time C&D winner, most recently last month when running on strongly to score. Since finished a good second at Wolverhampton over 1m6f and should go well once more, despite being 5lb wrong on these terms.

12-race maiden on turf but has often shaped with promise (placed five times). Returns from a break for AW bow having undergone wind surgery and one to take note of.

Won a couple of races on firm ground back in 2016 but has never as much as placed on the AW and well beaten off this month over the trip at Kempton (last of 10). Easier to look elsewhere.

Made all to win an apprentice seller over C&D late last month, may have found 2m beyond him back here since. Cheekpieces restored and potentially well treated with rider's claim. Looks a player.

Modest form in 10 starts, five of them on the AW and needs this longer trip to bring about some improvement seemingly.

Five-time course winner though is on a long losing run now (14). Mostly consistent in five runs here this winter, best of them over this trip and not discounted having run with credit on Saturday over 1m2f. Won this last year from 6lb higher.

Four-time winner at this track, but not since October 2015. Has gone close this winter over 1m2f but was poor here last week and opposable again on these terms.

Handicap winner off a 10lb higher mark in the past but poor during 2017 and was again quickly beaten over this trip at Kempton 10 days ago on debut for this trainer. Forced to run from 10lb higher mark now, doesn't appear to have much going for him.

16:00 Lingfield - 26 January 2018 - Racecard - Horse Racing - Sporting Life

Bamako Du Chatelet is a multiple C&D winner and scored here last month. He's since run well at Wolverhampton over a trip longer than ideal and must be respected back here. He is 5lb higher this afternoon however and likely to be short enough in the betting, ensuring he is opposable. Attain is another proven Lingfield performer and won this race a year ago off a 6lb higher mark but the nod is given to BERTIE MOON today. He made all to land a C&D seller late last month and wouldn't have been entirely suited by a step up in distance next time. With his cheekpieces back on and a useful claim in the saddle making his mark look attractive, he can be a threat to all from the front end.
