Cheekpieces go on for the first time having run well on his two previous starts here both in maiden company. Ran no sort of race last time out having shown he could perform on other AW surfaces but looks on a fair mark as he runs in his first Fibresand handicap; could well bounce back.

Just the two outings so far for this yard after he looked badly out of sorts over hurdles for his previous trainer. Has shown very little though so far over two different trips and is now tried in a new headgear combination with plenty to prove on Fibresand debut.

A three-time winner here he's not the most straightforward and can look an awkward ride (often slow away). Never won over this trip but has run respectably at this trip and showed his best form for a while over C&D last time; he is hard to win with though.

Has run respectably and been placed the last twice here over a furlong further although his response to pressure in those two races goes a long way to explaining his modest strike rate. Only the one win to his name and again last time out his response to pressure was limited.

Both runs here have been respectable and resulted in a couple of third places (one over C&D). However, he's not looked to relish a battle on more than one occasion and this test may well prove beyond him.

Had looked well suited by this surface when he scored on his stable/Fibresand debut around a year ago over C&D. Hasn't won since then and even though he's been returned here the last twice he's turned in two poor displays and the jury remains out on him.

Only one previous attempt on Fibresand which was a below par one and he ran poorly last time out after 12 weeks off. Has won off a higher mark on the turf but hard to be confident given his previous run here.

Has proven himself on this surface as he's a three time winner here and he certainly ran into a useful one for the grade in Spun Gold last time. Had very little chance with that one but beat the rest well and is probably better than his losing run suggests.

Looks something of a slow burner on Fibresand and has flashed some ability on this surface although perhaps he's promised more than he's delivered. Didn't quite live up to his earlier promise last time out and this 7f trip may just stretch him.

Makes her Fibresand debut and did look rather unlucky not to win last time out at Wolverhampton over this trip. No doubt that she's well handicapped on the AW although her sire (Bushranger) has a very poor record here and that plus her overall record tempers enthusiasm.

Yet to run on this surface but the trainer does well here and the pedigree gives some hope that she will act on the unique surface. Shaped well over 6f last time out and looks ready for this distance and one to note in the market.

Her form on this surface reads 343 and she obviously acts on it but she is still a maiden after 24 starts and other hold a more persuasive chance here.

Came back from a very long absence when showing very little on her first run for this yard over C&D in a maiden. Now steps back into handicap company but faces a very stiff task.

The penalised Angel Palanas sets a good standard here as he bids to follow up his win over 6f here last time out and he looks sure to go close over this furlong further trip with the blinkers going on for the first time. A few of the others have form on this surface but have disappointed with their finishing efforts in the past and it may pay to take a chance with BEST TAMAYUZ here after he ran into a really progressive sort for the grade last time with the rest well beaten off. Naralsaif lurks at the bottom of the handicap and could well be primed to show better form on this surface while Big Amigo and Eddiebet are two others with chances here although the former is hard to win with.

  2. Angel Palanas
